The launch of The British Ukrainian Society

The launch of the British Ukrainian Society took place on the 17th April with a champagne reception at The Arts Club, 40 Dover Street, London W1.
Richard Spring, MP and British Ukrainian Society Chairman: “The importance of the relationship between Ukraine and Britain is becoming more evident each day. With the current events in Ukraine, the foundation of the British Ukrainian Society provides a timely opportunity to increase helpful dialogue and links between the two nations.”
Over two hundred eager visitors attended the event.
During the launch guests viewed the display of artwork by Olexa Zakharchuk, artist from Ukraine. The exhibition was organised with support from Danusha Fine Arts.
The British Ukrainian Society (BUS) is a not-for-profit organisation which seeks to strengthen the ties between Ukraine and the United Kingdom at all levels by providing a platform for closer contact and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of politics, business, culture, education and science.
